A booking is not confirmed without the payment of a deposit.
The full balance of the tariff is due on arrival. Visa Card, MasterCard and Bankcard credit cards are all accepted. A credit card imprint on arrival will be required as a key, telephone, dirty dishes, additional cleaning or damage deposit. If a guest cannot provide a credit card, a $100 cash bond for each person staying will be required as an alternative. Outstanding accounts such as unpaid tours and telephone calls will be charged to the guest’s credit card or taken from bond money. Bond money will be immediately refunded after an apartment inspection for damage, additional cleaning etc. conducted by the management. A minimum charge of $5 will be billed to the credit card for unpaid sundries. A $150.00 fee will be charged for lost keys. Cheques are not accepted on arrival.
The $50.00 administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting and banking monies, cancelling the booking from the system, drawing the refund cheque, mailing the refund cheque, meeting bank charges and paying for staff administration time.
In the event of the cancellation of a booking due to death or serious illness, the booking may be transferred to another date within a period of 12 months from the date of the original booking. Proof of death or serious illness may be required. If the guest cannot honour the booking within 12 months, the standard cancellation policy applies.
Particular apartments cannot be guaranteed at ANY time, however, an attempt will be made to fill all requests.
